You don't "believe" scientific theory, you accept the evidence and weigh for yourself if the burden of proof has been met. Science is about skepticism, not taking things at face value or on faith. The scientific method is a process in which we can determine, through testing of hypothesis, whether something may be true or not. It is the framework on which we base the acquisition of knowledge and the sorting of fact from fiction. If god exists, science will prove it. Only the scientist and the atheist have the words I don't know in their vocabulary, everyone else tries to relate stories from their religious texts to make up some sort of BS argument when they don't really know either.
